Still life paintings

This collection is a series of still life paintings, but not in the traditional sense. It all begins with creating my sources. Each source is constructed digitally from a variety of elements I gather and puzzle together. I play with light, color, and perspective until the source is just right. The next step is messy play time. I have fun with different mediums to create a loose underpainting. I follow that with an acrylic layer and finish it off with oil paint to bring the piece to life!
